Choose From 100 Performances At Fringe Theatre Fest Barnstaple, 22-25 June
The puns are flying with shows like Maybe Dick and Lame Miserables at Barnstaple’s 4-day feast of performing arts.
Now in its 17th year, Fringe Theatre Fest offers comedy, drama, street-theatre, dance, music and magic at low prices: between £4 and £8 in ticketed venues.
Many street venues and less formal indoor spaces are free with pay-what-you-will bucket collections.
Watch a comedy version of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a drama about losing a parent to Alzheimers, or for the 0-7 year olds, the Silly Squirrel puppet show.

Get Revved Up For The Dawlish American Car Show 23-25 June
Start revving your engines because Cofton’s American Car Show weekend is coming back for another lap in 2023.
As well as classic US cars on show and cruising around Dawlish, there’s live music, family fun (circus skills, balloon modelling and face-painting), games and of course, food and drink.
Oh, and a fireworks display and disco on Saturday evening.
A date for the diary even if you’re not a petrolhead.
From 6.30pm Friday 23rd until 4.30pm Sunday 25th June. Day visitors: Adult £10, child £5

Hear Tunes Of Hope And Glory From His Majesty’s Royal Marines Band, 2 July
There are still a few tickets left to see one of the country’s top military bands at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.
The Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines Plymouth will be performing a concert celebrating the city’s rich heritage with the British armed forces.
Under the direction of Captain Matt Weites, Director of Music RM Band Plymouth, the set includes music from stage and screen, quintessential military band repertoire, drums and soloists.
Sunday 2 July only. Theatre Royal Plymouth. PL1 2TR Tickets £20

Devon Beach Soccer Championships 17-18 June: Why Not Enter A Team?
Why not enter your team in the weekend extravanganza of beach soccer taking place at Croyde Beach as part of Ocean Fest 23.
There are tournaments for mixed, girls and boys teams for ages U7 to U16, and entry is just £22.88 per team (up to 12 players).
From 9am Saturday 17th to 5pm Sunday 18th June.

Support Our Boys And Girls On Plymouth Armed Forces Day, Saturday 24 June
A free evening concert with the stunnng background of The Sound will be the finale of Plymouth Armed Forces Day.
Bands, parades, live music and the Junior Field Fun tournaments will be running throughout the day.
Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women of the military from serving troops to reservists, veterans, cadets and their families.
Explore military vehicles and equipment, weapons display and learn about life an careers in the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.
The day starts at 10am. Plymouth Hoe. Organisers recommend parking in the city centre car parks.
